Plot Synopsis
In this film, teenagers Angie (Connie Francis), Merrit (Dolores Hart), Melanie (Yvette Mimieux), and Tuggle (Paula Prentiss) travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida on their spring vacation in hope of finding excitement and romance. "Date me, short one." asks Basil (Frank Gorshin). Angie enthusiastically says yes. However, Basil is very near-sighted and doesn't see he has a date with the most beautiful girl. (wtba4)

Angie adds flavor and color to Basil's music as she sings "Turn On The Sunshine" but he remains cerebral. (wtba6)

"You will sweep him off his feet!" says Tuggle (Paula Prentiss on left). Angie says to Basil, "How do I look?" He replies, "OK, short one, let's go!" and zooms out the door. Angie says, "Sweep him off his feet? I'll KNOCK him off his feet!" (wtba7)

After everyone dried up, they take their party to the beach. Angie orientates Basil to the audience. (wtba13)
